Dr. Lina M. Gómez is Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at The University of Tampa in Florida. She holds a Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility and Organizational Sustainability from Universitat Jaume I in Castellón, Spain. She has over 15 years of international experience in higher education and strategic communication. Strengths in the areas of strategic planning, project management, team building, grant writing, course design and delivery, educational technology, and academic research. Her research examines how social media platforms are changing communication processes in disciplines such as corporate social responsibility, public relations, education, and health communication.
